I think parents hurt more seeing their kids get hurt than the kids themselves. This accident made me so sad. I was babysitting our neighbor's two boys. One of the boys who is about 6 months older than Meira was playing with a ball and rolled it down our driveway into the road. I was holding Meira and ran after the ball. When we got to the ball I stopped it with my foot and then lost my balance. I fell on my hip and knee. Meira bonked her face on my shoulder. As you can see, her tooth went through the inside of her lip. :-( I felt awful about falling with her. So did she. Luckily that is all that happened and Meira soon recovered. She was a trooper..jpg)

bravo to you for going so long without any major boo boos!! i remember Addis first big owie (sp) happened with babysitters ... oh the dread to come home and have your infant's face all scraped up and you weren't there to comfort them when it happened.
